My first pickup....I'm pretty excited. With that said, I'm also a bit clueless on bed liners. But I need to get one since and I don't want to pay $700 to my Nissan dealership to get one installed.

I would love you know what you guys think is best option?

BED LINER
Uses for pickup...
90% will be recreational use but would like an option if I ever need to haul dirt, mulch, etc.
It's a lease so I don't want to do any drilling to install
I want a full under rail bed liner --- not interested in bed rug since I want to have options on what can go back there

Questions...
How are to install?
Am I just better off paying Nissan the $700 to install, etc.

BED COVER
Torneau covers? Hard? Soft? Roll Up? Hinged, Folding
I don't need toolbox -- just cover

Thanks for the help!

I like the spray in liners. My truck came sprayed so I am not sure whos brand it is but it has held up well since 08.

I am big fan of the soft hinged covers as I use the bed alot and the light and small when removed

Just purchased a '17 SV. I went with the Bedrug -- super easy installation and it looks and feels great. You could throw in a sleeping bag and camp out on the Bedrug -- it's really nice with 1/4" padding. You can haul mulch or rocks on the Bedrug, then hose out or vacuum up any debris.

Regarding tonneau covers ... I installed the Revolver X2. It took me an afternoon to install. Next, I'll put in a tailgate sealer kit like the Extang Max Seal. Hopefully this will result in a fairly weather-resistance bed space.

My preference is a sprayed-in liner. I have the factory plastic liner in my 2004 and it has held up pretty well but the slickness of the liner means that stuff sometimes slides around when you don't want it to.
