Pardon me if this has been discussed before, I am new to this website.

I purchased a K&N cold air intake for my son's 2011 Titan. Has there been issues with those on this engine?

Also when installing, is it wise to clean the MAF sensor? I know they are delicate, and I have purchased the correct cleaning product. Also do you need to disconnect the battery when removing the MAF sensor to clean it. I know you need to disconnect the battery to remove the Throttle body , but also the settings need to be re-installed.

Any comments much appreciated.

ive never disconnected the batt while installing intakes. I have a kn on my titan now. u can clean the maf, but unless ur getting codes, i wouldnt worry about doing that.

I as well as many others on this site have K&N intakes on our trucks and I've never heard of any problems resulting from the filter.
