I am going to purchase a new dnx7100 in the next few days. I am wondering from those of you who already have this unit, what accessories will I need to make it 100% ready to hook up? Any wiring harnesses, ipod connectors, gps antennas ect..... I am getting the backup camera already, just not sure what else i need to make the unit work.

Also where can i get a new faceplate that has the proper hole for the hazard button?

Also I already have sirius satelite hooked up with the unit mounted outside the console, but wiring behind radio (done by best buy). Will this work this way with the 7100?

The only additionals i am hooking up are the ipod and backup camera (ccd2000)

I would go with the factory XE bezel instead of a dash kit unless you have an 08 or dual climate controls.

I just had this installed in mine. Unfortunately, I don't have a Titan. I needed an adapter to keep the steering wheel controls and another for onstar. I also bought, mounting kit, ipod adapter, backup camera, sirius adapter and an antenna adapter.

BTW...it's freakin awesome! I love mine.

I have installed five or six of these Titans. I would need a little more info on the truck. year and model and audio package in vehicle right now.

For part of your answer, try the "Search" function in the blue bar at the top of the page. Key in DNX7100 and you will get 24 other threads discussing the Kenwood. I installed mine albeit with HD rather than satellite radio. Check particularly for lessons learned. I love my Kenwood. Good luck.

I have an '05 titan SE CC, BT, It has the standard 6 disk cd stereo not RF, and no dual climate control. I know I will lose the 6 disk function, but im cool with that. I have the steering wheel audio controls which im told I will be able to retain. I have seen some aftermarket face plates but none that have the hazard button or they are in the wrong place.

i thought any time you replace a factory stereo you loose the fuctions on the steering wheel and over head for the rear passengers. do they really make an adapter to retain the factory settings?

yes they make a piece for the swc.

for the 08 SE titans? im assuming all the trucks in 08 come with the standard a/c units unless order the dual digital climate controls in the LE right

my SE has the brush aluminum bezel
