Iv'e been working on a audio system upgrade and also installed backup camera. The head unit has a wire that needs to tie into the reverse light wire harness to get the signal to display camera whenever shifting into reverse.

I tried tapping into the 10A reverse light fuse under the hood, but this was hot all the time. I've been studying the oem manuals wiring schematics but am having problems as to where to hook this into. Maybe the back up lamp relay, shown in manual as connector M73, which is part of the main harness, ands appears to be under the dash somewhere, but im not seeing it. Does anybody know where it is for sure or have other suggestions as to pick up a signal wire? thanks

There was a write up about it that I read on here. I think it was a green wire in the kick panel on the passenger side. When I did mine, I could not find the right one that's why I did what I did. I didn't want to probe a bunch of wires, so I just went with what I knew.

I found it. It's a green wire with a white tracer, and it's found close to the head unit, driver side, coming up from beneath the dash, just above the center console, clipped onto a bracket behind a bunch of other crap. So I studied OEM manual for a couple hours, could not find it..... Then I googled "2006 Titan back up lamp relay location" and had my answer in under 60 seconds, with pictures. Go figure.
