Not hearing it.
wow this is very clear.Found this.
Yet Toyota keeps selling more Tundras. I see more new Tundras on the road than I ever thought I would. Saw one on the side of the highway today pulling a small enclosed trailer, no flat tires on either truck or trailer, just a pissed off looking guy starring under his hood. It did look pretty good though. Two-tone, white with black accents. These types of things help kill Titan sales as it’s all based on fear.

Imagine paying $65k plus for a truck “expected “ to be reliable yet is a big piece of junk…Yet Toyota keeps selling more Tundras. I see more new Tundras on the road than I ever thought I would. My reference is people on forums discussing things when they are only hearing a normal engine. Yes, some trucks did have that occur but most don’t and people search google and find us. The majority of Titan owners don’t join a forum.Yet Toyota keeps selling more Tundras. I see more new Tundras on the road than I ever thought I would. You don't have the knock.
Sounds like the current Titan with the engine knock and transmission issues. Or the previous Titan with axle failures and manifold failures.Imagine paying $65k plus for a truck “expected “ to be reliable yet is a big piece of junk…
That’s what them Toyota fanboys get…
I know of 2 people personally that bought 22’ Tundras that had wastegate failures within 2 months of ownership. One of which had the “fix” done to his truck (which involves pulling the cab from the frame) for it to happen AGAIN in less than 3 weeks. Toyota didn’t issue a recall on this and only fixes them “as needed” which is a HUGE number of the trucks. Best friend bought a 21’ GMC Sierra, lifters installed upside down or backwards - they fixed one side of the engine when it sh*t the bed. 3 weeks after getting it back the other side went bad. Chevy knows it’s an issue and DOES NOT issue a recall or anything until it gets brought in. Every company is shady. Every company has issues. Go check their forums. Titan is definitely not perfect, but man - if you have so many issues burn yours to the ground and take the insurance money.Sounds like the current Titan with the engine knock and transmission issues. Difference is that Toyota will fix what's wrong. Nissan sweeps it under the rug hoping it goes away.
Yet there's a lot of them with the problem. My local dealer has done 7 and they checked my 2017 but it looked fine. These types of things help kill Titan sales as it’s all based on fear.

Titans actually have less issues than any other brand.I know of 2 people personally that bought 22’ Tundras that had wastegate failures within 2 months of ownership. My neighbors Tundra had the turbo's go out after driving it 8k miles. Sat in the shop for almost 4 months waiting for parts. After they fixed it he drove it down the road and traded it for a 2022 GMC 2500HD AT4 diesel and hasn't looked back. 🤣Imagine paying $65k plus for a truck “expected “ to be reliable yet is a big piece of junk…
