I finally finished the light bar.
The top lights are KC 5"All the lights are 200,000 candle power.
They light up the night pretty good.
Checked the voltage gauge with all lights on at idle and needle goes just under the half way mark, anything above idle it goes to about the normal spot as if they weren't on. So I'll have to see if the alternator can keep up.

I think it'll be ok.

Have a look.

Looks good.

Not my cup of tea, especially making holes in the skin, but good work.
Thanks,

No holes in the body, just some dimples. If you look close you'll see a soft alumnium strip between the light bar and the body, that is also stuck on the body with 3M double sided tape. The dimples got there from not having the aluminium strip at first. It's a very strong setup I can pull on it really hard and it doesn't budge. Been through the automatic car wash a few times too.

I see you ran your power supply down the back window. From there where does it go? Did you install a relay and a switch in the cab? Show picks of the power run and switch set up on the dash or where ever? 3M tape huh? and that holds it firmly in place? Is that a seperat mounting piece then the light bar mounts to that piece? I like the idea but not the power cord down the back window.
Wires run along the frame up to the relays (2) one wire is grounded to the body just where the parking brake cable is. Just a side note the frame is NOT a good ground had it there and lights would work then not. The Negative side of the battery goes to the body of the truck not the frame.

The 3M tape holds the aluminum in place and the the screws have points on them and bite into that and puts pressure on the body. It ain't going anywhere!!!!

How else would I run the wires? Any idea's would be nice.
If the light bar was grounded from how it mounts which it's not I could have run the other two wires along the window and hide them there is not enough room to fit them all in there.

I have all the relays behind the grill out of sight, for the switch I used the factory blanks on the lower left panel of the steering wheel I had 3 blanks there.

All of the lights operate from one switch.

I don't have any pictures of the wiring.
