My truck has developed a "roar" that sounds an awful lot like a bad wheel bearing; however, when looking at my truck I noticed wetness inside my right-rear drivers wheel. I have a 2004 crew cab and 4-wheel disc brakes. Could this be the sound I hear? Is it leaking brake fluid and a stuck caliper piston?? I have attached pics. One side is the passenger side (normal side), the other is the problem side. Thanks!

You need to replace the rear axle seal.

yep rear axle seal, that's differential fluid. The roar is probably dried out gears and or bearings.
