For what it's worth, I have heard nothing but good things about Katzkins.....
You are a brave man. I don't think I would tackle this myself, I was planning on having it done for me while I sat somewhere having a beer.all torque said:I got my katzkin at promotiontuning.com for just under $700. I'm in the process of installing them right now. Since I only get Sundays off, it will take me a couple of weekends to do. It took me about 4-5 hrs to do the front passenger seat, I'm taking it slow, don't want to tear something. Everything fits perfect so far, the only complaint is that they did not come with the holes for the headrest. I went with the two tone, black and one of the greyish colors, I can't remember which one. I ordered the sample kit to get the exact color matching. It did take almost a month to get the covers in from the time ordered. I will post pics when I'm done.
Why not buy a couple of leather seats from a wrecked Titan? Easy install, and probably cheaper than eBay even.luvbelly said:I am looking at doing the leather seat conversion VERY SOON. I have looked at a couple of brands and vendors and am still in the research phase. If any of you have done this or have done research I am looking for input. The prices range widely from ebay ($399) to a couple grand from the dealer. I am not a rich man but I don't want to throw money away on an inferior product either. Thanks for any and all input.
Ah....that defeats all that new car smell!!!!!rvandam said:Why not buy a couple of leather seats from a wrecked Titan? Easy install, and probably cheaper than eBay even.
This would be a good concideration normally but I have read over and over most people feel the aftermarket leather looks and feels better than the OEM leather nissan uses in the Titan. I wish this wasn't the case though because it sure would save some work.rvandam said:Why not buy a couple of leather seats from a wrecked Titan? Easy install, and probably cheaper than eBay even.
