So there are a ton of options for LED bulb out there. My 2018 titan bulbs are truly awful and might as well not even be on half the time. My question isn't which led to get really, but are there any to avoid? I'm only interested in headlight bulbs at the moment. Thank you for any personal experiences or opinions!

no, they are separate. i just did the lows and its so bright i didn't get the highs

I changed all 6 on my 2017 KC SV (All 4 headlights, and 2 fogs). Much improved, but, learned the hard way about multi sided bulbs vs 2 sided. The 2 sided bulbs are much brighter!

i have fahrens from amazon. been in a year or so and work great. i just did the low beams and will hopefully do the highs after christmas.

since i don't really go out of town much, i never used the highs. but we recently went out of state and i decided i need the highs now

Hi @Edwin_Rodriguez . The low beams require 9006 and the highs are 9005 for '04-'15. Were the Fahrens dual compatible?

Thx
I just put the Fahren LEDs in my '15 and they work fine.
Just make sure the +/- are oriented properly. The plug on the bulb has +/- on one side, align that with the clip side of the power supply.
They slip right in literally seconds to change the bulb. It's getting the headlight assembly out that takes the time.
There's a good Youtube video from 1AAuto that shows how.

I bought a set off Amazon for both low and high beam and there great. Fahren H11/H9/H8 LED Headlight... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NPMV1H5?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Hi, so top link is high beam bottom link is low beam or did you buy two sets of the top link for both? I'm 90% you bought one of each link, just confirming before I pull the trigger!

Thanks!

+1 on the fahrens I have both the low and high beam and there great. Lifetime warranty I believe, just have to register them when you get them in.

Okay, we'll take a look at Fahrens. The local shop mentioned it so it might be worth trying. We'll do the headlight upgrade after installing the new tires from 4Wheelonline plus the alignment.

To be honest you may be right on that lol I think they both have the ability to go from low to high beam with the same bulb but I ended up buying the 2 sets of each because one was for the low beam part # and the other was for the high beam part # anyways they haven’t let me down yet.

I had the same question in mind. After reading this, I'm even more unsure. To be clear: there's two different bulbs, one for high and one for low? The specs look the same, and in the descriptions it doesn't say "this is for..."

Two different bulbs, or can you use the same ones (all four)?

thanks!

Mine are still going, my fahrens. Two years now with no issues and haven't had to replace one. They have bee to the snow in colorado and 110+ month long temps here in south texas

Although there have a ton of led headlight bulbs in the market right now. Sealight H11 LED headlight bulb is good one from them. The brightness of these bulbs are amazing!
Performance has been phenomenal thus far! No flicker or radio interference of any kind. Now that the install headache is over there is nothing else to do but enjoy! Even with stuffing the LED driver into the housing and replacing the dust cover there has been no rattling detected at all.
