Has anyone successfully converted their SV halogens to the SL+ trim level LED headlights? I know the wiring harness is different, but I was thinking the harness could be purchased also? I wouldn't think they would make it too difficult from the factory.

Aren't the 17s (I do have an SL) just a projector headlight with a normal halogen bulb or are there really LED bulbs in the low beam/projectors?
No, the Pro 4X, SL and Platinum Reserve use LED bulbs with a rotating dial so that you can adjust the aim from inside the vehicle.

Huh, no ****. Thanks, man. I've played the "1, 2, 3" dial that brings them up and down but I had no idea the SL had LED bulbs. Just thought they were projector housing with halogen bulbs.

I wanted to get a nice set of LED bulbs for the fogs to match the headlights from the get go but there are so many options.

I couldn't find anything when I got my truck so I purchased LED bulbs. I used this: Kensun® Super Bright Extreme Cree LED Headlight Conversion Kit - H11

I've been very pleased. But if you do succeed, post a pic and tell us how you did it.
Yea, I did the LED bulb replacement for the Low beams and the Fog's and they are bright as hell and look great, but I tow a trailer a lot and would like the projectors to reduce glare and adding the adjustment wheel would be awesome.

I just got a 17 SV, had a 2015 T before and the lights are pretty good for just H11's !. My buddy has a pro 4X XD with the LED's here pretty bright but so SV lights are too far off.

Which high beams did you go with? Heard it is a pain trying to change those out.

it is bad. you need a narrow end and one that doesnt have a long base.
i got the auxbeam gold ones. they were not to bad to twist in. need to push pretty hard while turning. also i put a litte wd40 on my finger and lubed the o ring and points a bit to help it twist in.
