let's see so far my 2008 has had the entire heat and air control replaced. Its been in the shop 3 times for new keys or key reprogramming. Now its in the shop for a new stereo system and they still have not resolved the key problem. It seems the truck will not recognize the safety system on the keys so the truck will not start. The dealer has been great but he can't figure our all the electrical problems. I'll be driving down the road, hit a bump and the a/c will come on high. Anyone out there with any probems like this or is my truck haughted.

dam that would suck, i would start using the lemon law- that does not sound good at all. sounds like the dealership is trying to resolve that for you. not sure if you need to have 3 attempts on same issue for lemon law or if it includes 3 total attempted fixes. i hope they take care of you soon.
I have thought about the lemon law. Just got off the phone w/ service they can't figure out how to fix it. they called me yesterday to p/u and when I arrived it would not start. I'm just glad its doing it to them to so they don't think I'm nuts. He doesn't know when I can get my truck because he can't fix it. U know maybe I'm crazy but I still like the truck and would by another if my problems are the exception and not the rule.

had the entire computer control replaced and got it out of the shop yesterday. guess what now the cruise does not work. the shop guys now feel sorry for me i have spent as much time in a rent car as in my truck
Man, that is majorly messed up! Nissan should do right by you and replace the truck with a new one! I mean, it's an '08... Can't be THAT much of a write-off for them.. :dunno:

Hope they get this resolved. This is one badass truck! You deserve to be able to enjoy that! :thumbsup:
Do what I did with the wifes 04 Quest. Talk to the GM and explain all the problems you're having with a brand new truck. Ask about having them simply replace the truck. Don't laugh. My dealer replaced the wifes 04 Quest....twice. The first time because of recurring problems, the 2nd when they damaged it in the shop.
went to pick up my truck from the cruise being fixed. guess what broke again on the way home. back to the dealer. don't laugh, it gets better and i cannot make this up. picked my truck up yesterday and everything works.... but they have wrecked my truck rear bumper and fender.... i promise they are supposed to meet with the nissan rep tommorow and if they don't treat me well i will post all my repair tickets along with pics of my wrecked truck.

Well, I think it is time to have them just give you a new truck of your choice equal to the one you currently have.. I think that would be fair.

now they don't have just me on their back. my wife is upset and we she is upset people everyones miserable. i think i'm just going to drop her in the gm's office go have a few cold ones and see what transpires.

Sorry to hear of the troubles, but hope it all works out.
Mike , i feel for you. My problems started early on with my 05. They never stopped and i finally had to cut my losses and got rid of it.Good luck with dealing with Nissan. They are one of the worst companies when it comes to customer service.
