Level Lift

Don't kill me guys, I read the first 5 pages of the sticky level thread by I just don't have time to read all 63 pages and form a good opinion. I am in grad school, work full time, and have two little ones that occupy my time as well. Could you all answer a few questions?

1. What is the easiest way to level the front?
2. The cheapest way to level the front?
3. The best option to level the front if I might add more lift at a later date?
4. Pro's or Cons to any of the above answers?

You guys overall recommendation for leveling out the front??

Thanks for any advice

This wont level the truck but the price is right and it will be close.Titan Fits 2004 2015 1 5" Front Lift Leveling Kit Billet Titan 1 5T | eBay
Another option is this, More lift but also more money and more work.Rou 862 Rough Country 2004 2014 Fits Nissan Titan 3 quot Leveling Lift Kit | eBay
There is a spacer in the buy/sell section or get one off ebay as Mike suggested. There is also a set of new 5100's for $140 which is a steal. I just added 5100's on mid perch on my 15 and a 1" block in the back. I sit at 38 3/4" in the front (to top of wheel wells) and 39 3/4" in the back. Theoretically just the 5100's would have gotten me pretty close to level, but my truck only has 4700 miles on it so my springs are pretty new without any sag.

What year is the truck?
2005
You will need to go up 2.5" in the front to be level. I recommend the bilsteins all the way. You can do those with a spacer. Your springs are going to have some sag so you probably won't get the as much height from adjusting the 5100's. I would do a spacer that lifts you 2.5" and 5100's on bottom perch. If you do that though you may need cam bolts for alignment, although I think your truck may have came with adjustable ones. I recommend extended bump stops (I got mine off ebay for $10) and you may need swaybar endlinks or just take the sway bar off. Make sure the spacer raises your truck 2.5", and not actually be 2.5".
So if I go with a 2.5" spacer in the front do I have to use bilsteins or can I just use the spacer? How do I know if I'll need sway bar end links? Will I need new UCA's? What is lower perch?
5100 is an adjustable strut with 3 settings: +0,+1", or +2" in height. The higher you put it, the more it compresses your front springs. The very top perch has been known to ride a little rough, from what I hear. You may get away without the endlinks. From what I've read on here titans seem to vary in what is needed. You can just use the spacer and factory struts, but your truck is 11yrs old and assuming you still have the factory struts, they are probably shot. You will need an alignment for sure after you mess with the front suspension.typically from what I read the if you only go 2.5" you should avoid coil bucket contact, but that is not necessarily set in stone. If you only went up 2" you would be safe with factory ucas for sure according to what I read.
an alignment required with 2" spacer? or even after installing bilsteins?

sorry to thread hack, looking for same options and I already have the spacers.
Any time you mess with the front end suspension you should get an alignment.
So can I go 1.5 inch spacer with Bilstein at middle perch to level it out at a total of 2.5" lift? I assume no matter how you get the lift you will run into problems with bucket contact after 2.5". For instance, if I went with a 2.5" spacer and bilstein set on middle perch (total of 3.5" lift?) then aftermarket UCA's would be needed? Just trying to wrap my brain around this.

No problems, the more questions the more we both learn

but can you confirm camber and caster can be adjusted on older than 07 titans? I understand only the toe can be adjusted (for models without camber bolts), and you can do that in your own driveway.

So if I go with a spacer to lift 2.5" will I get CBC?
Probably. You can buy cam bolts should it need adjusting.

Most likely you will, 98% chance. Very rarely does anybody in a pre 08 Titan not get CBC on anything over 2".

04, 05, and some early 06 Titans came with adjustable cam bolts, anything newer did not. Cam bolts will cost about $75-80, good insurance against going through a set of expensive tires very quickly for having an improperly aligned suspension.

I understand your frustration. I am very cheap, if you couldn't tell by my constant questioning regarding a $100 alignment.

my research has me going in this direction... I have an 06 2wd.

I bought 2" billet alum spacers from amazon. They were about $40 iirc. I just recently purchased the cam bolts on amazon, saw a special for $13/ set. This should get me level for about as cheap as possible. $166-200 including the alignment.

future lift: 4" spindles (from PRG) and 4" rear block. Thats about $600 including brake lines. need additional $ rear shocks. plan to run 35" tires and aftermarket rims. (or prg 6" kit which is really 4" lift with 2" front spacer is $1000 and comes with shocks and other needed items and then you can sell the spacers since you will already have them)
additionally if wanted more clearance, PRG 1.5" bodylift is $300.

This is all assuming you are 2wd also as the spindles wont work with 4wd axle shafts.

Working my way through the sticky thread and will likely get to read the whole thing before I level my 06. However, one thing I haven't seen in any of my google searches or reading so far: Are people adjusting their headlights when leveling?
