Hi guys i'm fixing to install my Bilstein 5100's on Pro-4x springs with a Pro Comp 2' level on top. Looking to run them on the middle perch. I also have MetalWorx UCA's that I'm going to put on as well. Will I need anything else with this set up? Extended brake lines? I'm not sure and need to figure out ASAP. Thanks

1" block in the back if you want to keep it level. You'll have basically the same setup as I do except different UCA's.

no these limit up travel, so you don't over compress the bilstein. it goes on the LCA and as that moves up it hits the frame spot for the bump stop.

dont grind the spindle. you mean the metal around the upper uniball hits the spindle?

Yes the actual UCA touches the top of the spindle. Not the boot of the ball joint or anything. It's very slight right at the back edge (rear of the truck) of the UCA.

so the DK arms have too much travel and the joint is articulating so much that the actual arm hits the same spot the arm is bolted to?

Not sure how a UCA can hit a spindle, as that is what the UCA is bolted too, are you sure you don't mean Coil bucket?

OP also get some PRG end links

Also probably a good chance your going to have coil bucket contact with a 2" spacer and the Bilsteins on middle setting

The OP should be alright on CBC since he's replacing the UCAs, but maybe Metalworx don't clear as well as DK or PRG?

I think what Lax is saying is that at full droop, with the spindle and UCA articulated down, the "rim" around the ball joint touches the edge of the spindle on the rear (of the truck) side. That would happen because the UCA is swinging down so the rim sits at a steep angle to the spindle, which is still vertical in orientation. Maybe I'm missing it, but that's what I'm seeing in my head.

dubyam thats how i'm reading it too. my prg arms will lay on the coil bucket before that happens.

The MW arms have more clearance then stock but not quite as much as DK from what Charlie Morse said, he switched from MW to DK.

First off sorry for thread jacking, OP.

Here's where it's contacting. Only does it at full droop, my DK arms aren't even close to the coil bucket.
