hey im new to the site but im looking to install a leveling kit on the front. either a 2.5 or 2 inch, the types of lifts i was looking at looked to be simply just spacers you put on top or under the front coil any one use this. looked at billet spacers online and they had rubber ones at auto zone.

Yes. Very common mod around here. Go with a billet spacer, not higher than is appropriate for your year model truck, and whether you're 2WD or 4WD.

You can go up to a 2.5" spacer on the front, and if you want to keep your rear shocks, a 1" block on the back. Just the front spacer will level you out pretty well. Adding the rear block will put the back about 1" higher than the front.

PRG and NCD both make billet spacers. The PRG kit will include bump stops, while the NCD kit will not. You can purchase the bump stops at Autozone for <$20, and you will need them.
