leveling kit install in Houston

My kit has been sitting in my backseat for about 6 months now. Haven't been able to find a good installer yet. I would do it myself but am not very knowledgeable with suspension. FourWheelParts is quoting $400-500 to install. I know for sure I can do better than that!

PM me. Depending on the type of kit, I'll install it for you for nothing more than a 12 pack and some laughs. If it's a urethane kit, send it back and get a better quality kit.

VShortt is a good man, but make sure you bring the right beer. He only likes one kind and it needs to be in a bottle. HINT the name brand is on the bottom of his post.
i think i found someone who might do it at lexus, but if not, VShortt can be my fall back guy. i definitely got you covered on that beer, man.
I bet VShortt can do it in less time. And blindfolded to boot.

Hmmm, not really, and sort of. He's done some pretty impressive custom fab work, such as his front light bar. I can't tell you how many of these kits he's put on for guys down in the Houston area. It's a bunch. And I don't think I've ever heard of charging anyone to do it. Yeah, he's that nice a guy. And I have met him.
does he own a shop or something?
Not that I know of. Does this stuff in his driveway. The mini lift is an easy install. Especially if you done a few. What kind of kit do you have?
i've got the readylift 2". same thing as prg, just little different style.

Samething.......only........different.

At least its not the dreaded poly spacers......
It looks more like the topgunz kit.... Not a solid billet spacer. It's not all that hard. If you own a torquewrench, it's pretty easy.

Yeah. It's similar to the TopGun Customz kit. It'll work just fine as it's designed to sit atop the coilover and not inside of the top hat.
No....I don't own a shop and to clear something up, I didn't fabricate my light bar. It was my design, fabricated by a guy here that goes by the username GRIM. He's incredibly talented with metal. As far as my knowledge of suspensions, I am NOT a suspension guru. I simply understand the Titan suspensions rather well as a result of doing so many lifts. I've got over 20 to my credit so at the end of the day, I've just become pretty good at them.
what a hell of a guy:cheers: you ever come to phoenix and ill buy you a beer
sorry, but looks like i got it done already. my mechanic and i got done in like 45 min. most of the time spent on the phone. i swear i could have installed it myself, i just needed someone to hold my hand while i was doing it to say i was doing it right.
i'll post pics once i get some decent light outside. this weather sucks.
will a 20/10 inch rim with 305/55/20's fit under a leveling kit ??
i wouldn't worry about any rubbing with the tires, but that rim seems a little too wide. i dunno, maybe someone can clarify soon.

hey VShortt, i forgot to mention. the guy that helped me install my kit owned a 08 tundra 5.7. it was pretty awkward when he pulled up in it, but he didn't care. he only bought it because his wife liked the interior better than the titan, otherwise we could have had another TT member.:bang:
did you get it installed? if not hit me up I will do it for 200!
