I keep running into issues with CBC when trying to install a spacer. I have 08+ 4wd coils which gave me about 3" of lift. I'm a half inch above the rear currently. At that time I installed 2" spacers not knowing I would get so much from the coils alone. Had to immediately remove the spacers.
Just today went to install the 1" spacers and I could tell right away I would likely have CBC even with the fact I have already trimmed some of the bucket lip. Basically bc I did not disconnect the upper arm and spindle when installing and had no room to install the strut back in bc the upper arm was sitting on the coil bucket. It started raining and I was aggravated so I just took the spacer back off.
Should I try a 3/4" spacer?
And 1" rear block instead of the 1.5"
I want more room for my tires without buying upper arms.
I do have a 1.5" body lift I have not yet installed.
