I loaded 3200lbs of rock in my truck today and I had no problems. What is the max that I can load in the bed of the truck? At the time I couldnt find it.

I don't know what it is for your '08, but I can guarantee you were over it! It's about 1400 or so I think for yours. Don't quote me on that.

I just drove about 5 miles myself too. The truck did fine, no problems. The rear did sag but never got near the stops.

You need to throw some air bags in that rig the next time you do that. I can't imagine what yor bump stops must have looked like on top of your rear diff.

I hauled a 600 lb bike in the bed and an overloaded uhaul last summer and was riding about 1 1/2" off the bump stops. truck handled it fine for the 1000 mile trip. Had to shift to 3rd for a long stretch though. Was clearly over the 14,000 total and the 6400 for the truck.
