Now that my exhaust is complete, I was considering adding a tru-trac rear end. What are the pros and cons about the upgrade?

Other then the purchase and install cost, there's no cons...

You'd be getting rid of the spyder gears which can fail and getting a true mechanical limited slip, which is plenty strong....AND it works real good with the Titans ABLS.

Pros - everything. Cons - nothing. I don't have it yet as they don't support the 08 models thus far but from what I can ready anyone that has had them installed absolutely loves them.

Cost is the ONLY con. It takes a one legged, limping Titan to a LSD two wheel burning hot rod!!!! Not to mention replacing the weaker stock components with better ones. Oh.....one kindof con is the way it reacts on wet or slippery surfaces. TOTALLY different beast.

400-500 for the unit depending on availabilty. They are becoming a popular unit and some places are saying there are stock issues. Then factor in at least half of that for a dealer to install. These are high rough estimates. Some have friends or places to get them installed for cheaper.

Your traction coming out of corners on dry asphalt will be much improved, as will you launch ability drag racing. Add a rear sway bar like I did, and you can drift in the wet like a rice rocket. The only negative which can be very dangerious for inexperienced drivers is that you will loose your traction control. In wet conditions, you can completely loose control of the rear end, so be careful.......
