Locking Rear End in Two Wheel drive? ECU mods?

1.)
I've got a '04 Titan 4X4. I want to hook up a switch to be able to lock the rear end with out the truck being in 4 wheel drive. I have been told it can be done and that it is pretty simple but I cannot find it in this forum anywhere. Can someone point me in the right direction?

2.)
I have also heard the Titan only allows full throttle from 60 mph and over with the stock ecu settings. Is this true? It does make sense because when I have the pedal all the way down, at 60 mph it seems to really pull hard when most other cars and trucks pull less and less. I have been told there is wiring that can be changed in the ECU to disable this.

I would love some help and direction on this. Thanks in advance.

On number 1 you're talking about Austin's E-lock mod. The title for the thread in this forum is "E-Lock locked in 2WD, 4HI & 4LO", so search on "e-lock". Austin's signature has a link to his webpage with detailed instructions.
Yes buddy, that is excately what I needed... Perfect! Thank you. Oh boy, I'm gonna have a sideways Titan now. I will post when I complete the mod and get some results.

Can anyone answer my other question? Disabling throttle stock restrictions?

You have to go to uprev, I am not sure if the stillen mod will do it, but I know the uprev will.
