Right, I already have the tru cool transmission cooler and I've read through the bypass instructions about 100 times just to make sure I didn't miss anything. I just wanted to confirm that I shouldn't run into any overheating issues by installing it and doing the bypass.

Matt11256 Said his transmission temps were higher after the bypass but it sounded like he didn't add another transmission cooler just used the factory one that isn't getting very much air flow.

I don't really tow or use 4 wheel drive much but like having the option. I just don't want to have to worry about the tranny overheating anymore than I would if I didn't do the bypass.

I live in an area that usually doesn't get colder than 30 degrees at night in the winter but can get up to 110 degrees in the summer

Anyway I'll install the tru cool and maybe add the deeper transmission pan if I'm worried. Just need to figure out how I'm going to mount the cooler (saw a thread using rivnuts to install it).
