Reposting this here as I posted in the wrong place earlier.

Hi everyone, im looking at buying a used Titan in my area and will be heading to see one tomorrow. It's a 2010 SE CC with a lift and 35's.

The add describes the lift as:

6" ProComp lift with 2.5 Radflo Coilovers up front Bilstein's in the rear

6" lift with coilovers, not maxed so there is room to get bigger (sits at 83.5" so it will fit in your 7ft. garage) Traction bars installed, this prevents rear axle flex/twist. This lift was professionally installed and done right.

Is there anything I should be specifically looking for with the modifications? Is there any additional wear running 35's? The truck has 60k on it.

Thanks in advance.

additional wear, yes of course.
lifts add stress regardless of brand or professionally installed.
aside from the norm, and obvious things to check
listen for noises, clunks and banging from the front end components.
turn the wheel lock to lock
test out the 4wd.

is this a forum members rig?
is the truck regeared for those 35`s?

that seems like a high price for a '10. It does seem and look to built legit, but I would rather like to see the same quality and effort into a 6 inch drop...just me. If he can move the price down, and there are no mechanical issues i might be interested. Check for exhaust system issues also and all the things Andy suggested in previous posts.

Have you ever owned a truck...or a T? They are thirsty...more thirsty with lift and heavy tires

I had a 2008 LE but had to sell it when I moved to SF for work. It was bone stock and yes, very thirsty. What do you mean by 6" drop?

I mean lowered. I did lifts on trucks...big custom lifts, and solid axle swaps years ago, but got tired of the cons of a lift. Yes, they can make a truck look great, and many do, its just not my thing anymore. I would prefer to take a corner at higher speed without excess body roll, and I think a lowered titan looks just as good if not better than a lifted one...different strokes man, that truck you are looking at looks good, and well built.

It looks to have the right rear DS spacer, so there's a plus. Likely, that seepage is a simple seal, which is not a really difficult or expensive repair. Personally, I'm not a fan of the 6" lifts out there for 1st gen Titans, too much height, with too little ground clearance gain. As an avid off-roader my whole life, I've found the best combo to be the largest tires you can clear at full travel with the least overall height to be the winning combo. And no offense intended (OK, not really) But anyone lowering a pickup needs to either just get a damn car, or grow a pair and stop wearing their little sister's lace panties (Which should clear up the unfortunate urge to destroy a pickup.. maybe listen to some rock and roll and look in to a testosterone supplement..).

In seriousness, that is on par with the used Titan prices in my area, seldom do I see a '10+ for less than $23k, but no matter how well done, lifted actually decreases the value.. 'All original' is in general, far more appealing market-wise than 'highly modified'. Only a seller unloading their gremlins will tell you otherwise. But it doesn't matter what sources say it's worth, it's only worth as much as a buyer will give for it.

It also strikes me as hilarious that there's a lifted T sitting in a parking space labelled "compact"
