As title states, I am lookin for a black grill guard or brush guard for the NON xd 2017 titan pro4x. I and finding replacment bumpers from fabfours but not wanting to go that route. Anyone have anyluck? I live in az and am willing to have it fabricated custom but also not having anyluck.

I just purchased my '17 Pro4X two weeks ago and I too have been searching high and low for a Bull Bar style grille guard. So far, I have not been able to find anything, except for the XD. I bought a new design 2016 Tacoma in January 2016 (really disliked that truck and traded it in toward this Titan). Because the 2016 Tacoma trucks were an all new design (like the Titan), it was hard to find a Bull Bar for it. Finally, after a couple of months, they started hitting the market. I was told by the manufacturer (ProZ) that it always takes a few months to catch up with the newly designed trucks and get their product to market. I assume this is the case with the 2017 Titans also. Can't find much in aftermarket add-ons so far. I had the Pro Z Premium LED Bull Bar for my Tacoma. Very sharp, easy to install and has a LED light-bar built in. I will install the same product on my Titan as soon as I can find one.

So far I have contacted rough country, fab fours (only makes up to 2015 titan and the xds.), iron bull, iron cross, go rihno, steelcraft, westin and countless others and all have said they have no intention of manufacturing for the 2017 titan non xd.
I'm hoping that some one does start to manufacture. I've had mine since October and love it and just want to start adding on to it like I did my 08.

So I found a fabricator locally that will make a guard for the truck and has a great reputation and his work looks good. One thing concerns me. He is recomending to weld a bracket on the front of the frame between the front center prying sensors, and then build a bolt on assembly off of those. That way I could still utilize the tow hooks.
This is a 2017 titan, should I be concerned about welding onto the frame? Warranty affected?

Looks like westin makes a guard for the XD. with the front of the truck being the same except the tow hook locations. Would I be assuming correctly that I could use the XD guard and fab up some mounts for the regular titan?

Same here. I wish there were something coming out there like a C4 Lo Pro bumper for this Titan.

Truth be told, i have been looking for a bull bar for the last three months and no luck. I have the same, 2017 Titan Pro 4x and i love it... i just can't find the bull bar. i also wanted a Borla cat back but it only goes to 2017 models.

That's great, i like it too. I printed the mounting instructions and will see if the pictures match what i have. It does say that the hooks must be removed. if the pics match, i will be ordering one later tonight. thanks for the feedback.

I too was interested in a bull bar / brush guard of some type. However, I have the parking sensors on the front of my truck and wasn't sure exactly if or how it would be affected. I just got done speaking with a representative from Rough Country and he literally just told me they WOULD be affected and that I might have to cut them off......ummmmm NO THANKS BRO! I'll just keep looking or continue to drive without one. Hasn't hurt me so far.

Maybe just relocate the affected sensors forward into the brush guard. Probably have to extend the wires, but seems do-able. Make sure to solder and heat shrink wrap all new wire connections you make. A layer of electrical tape would be a good idea, too.
Getting ready to buy the XD westin HDX grill guard. And have custom brackets / mounts made to fit my regular titan.
I know the frame and tow hook locations are different between the XD and regular 17 titans but is there any difference in the body's? Front contours and size?
Am I correct in thinking that the body change starts at the bed?

There are some slight differences in the front body. I don't know exactly what all of them are so I'm not sure how they would affect the grill guard. I know that the grill itself is different between the XD and non, I also know the entire nose is longer (front fenders, hood, etc)

Steelcraft finnaly has a grill guard for the 17-18 non XD Titans. Part number 54140
Waiting for pictures and install instructions.
But from their website it states that it will interfere with the parking sensors.
