Hey y'all,

Im looking for info on a 2" suspension lift for my 2007 Titan that will preserve the towing capacity of my truck. I wanted to check with the wealth of knowledge on here before going to 4wheelparts or someplace else and getting a huge bill.

What do you all recommend? I already have a leveling kit on there from a previous owner and will be getting Uprev in the near future.

If you already have a leveling kit on your truck, your not really going to get much more without going up to a bracket lift if you are 4wd. The smallest bracket lift is the Rough Country 4" lift. If your 2wd you can do a 4" spindle lift. As mentioned above, more info is needed

If you plan on going with the mentioned bracket lift you could also upgrade to Deaver's from PRG for the rears to help with more load handling for your towing needs

PRG Products
These 3 leaf add-a-leaf packs are designed to give a bit more lift and a bit more load handling than the C-10 pack, but are otherwise the same

When I was discussing my suspension plans with Greg at PRG I said that I will be towing a lot and he said don't do Deavers.

I put Deavers on my '91 Ford Ranger and good grief that thing would squat bad if you looked at it funny.

I'm glad I never put Deavers on my Titan.

interesting...Greg told me different? what's the point of better load handling than when using Deaver's?

My understanding is that the Deavers give you lift and more travel.

Air bags would certainly help with the sag due to softer springs.

I haven't been over to Greg's site in a while, but when I bought my Titan back in '06 I remember that he didn't recommend the Deavers for towing. It might have been a post he made around here? I don't remember.

Tried and true. You're already part-way there with a leveling kit. Adjustable Bilstein 5100s are another option.

I tow a lot and run roadmaster active suspension (RAS) in the rear. Across two different trucks.

Leveling kit up front + blocks in the rear = mini-lift (PRG sells this as a kit).

Bilsteins + RAS are a more active method to achieve the same 1-3 inches. And agree with rest, don't run Deavers for towing.

thanks man! I'm liking the sound of the RAS and small block in the back...and its affordable. The website makes the RAS sounds like the greatest thing I could install on my truck haha. hows the handling and body roll with it installed?

RAS acts a little bit like traction bars, preventing axle rap. Makes the truck stiffer, handle like its on rails.

I really like it. I used bags when I towed a gooseneck heavy heavy heavy but RAS is good for heavy without the hassle.
