I have a 2006 titan crew cab with an after market car alarm/remato start. Sometimes and only sometime the car will NOT start. What i mean by that is that the car tries to start but will not turn over. Also this only happens once in a while, but it does happen. And let m e tell you this is extremely annoying. I am pretty sure some one will say bring it back to where you had it installed. I DID, and they are stumped, also the place is an extremely reputable place as well. At first they changed out the module and thought that did it, but it didnt. If there is anybody out there that is good with alarms please give me an idea as to what to do.

I have seen on here that sometimes when your battery gets weak, it won't push enough cold-starting amps to get the truck started. Have your battery tested as i'm sure the auto remato starter puts some extra drain on it.

Yes my stock battery is taking a crap. Sometimes it will start it, but sometimes it just makes clicking noises and the gauges act crazy.

You may be surprised... There have been issues with batteries on these trucks. There's a thread that popped up last year (2006) about how many '04 Titans are on their original battery. Could be the beginning of the end of your relationship with yours..... :dunno:

I recall a thread where someone mentioned a partial pro-rated replacement because it went out fairly soon after purchasing the truck. I'd have to search on it....

well you gotta look at this..how much money should you pay for a PERFECT-100% PROBLEM-FREE vehicle?

$70,000?
$200,000?

sorry it doesnt exhist...

and never will

problems happen

if you put millions of parts into a vehicle and 20-30 parts
actually cause problems
well heck that is an awesome ratio huh?
at least the problem isn't a bad crankshaft
like Crapota

Yes i guess you are right in that sense. Well anyway i just got off the phone with the dealer in regards to the battery and it is indeed true that it is prorated. Batteries are only covered for 1 year from the date of purchase. I am going to have the battery tested and then take it from there.
