Okay I have been looking for a nice 5 channel amp and the ones that I came up with was the following:

1. Eclipse XA5000
2. Fosgate Limited Power 1000
3. Kicker ZX700.5

Those are the three that caught my attention. I am looking for opinions and if there are other 5 channel amps that would be better.

The first one that comes to mind for me is the Memphis Belle. I don't know how they compare to the others but it may be worth checking out.

what size speakers are you planning to use.

IMO i have always been a MTX fan

I want to run some Infinity Kappa 6.5 (90 watts RMS per speaker) front/back and for subs I want to have two Kicker Comp CVR 10 (300-400 RMS per sub). The 6.5s are 2 ohms and the subs would be dual 4 ohms.

1. Eclipse [email protected] plus [email protected]
2. Fosgate Limited Power 1000- [email protected] plus [email protected]
3. Kicker [email protected] plus [email protected]

I use to have a set of mtx tens back in the day and they did set off a few alarms. So I will look at mtx's.

I agree but as far as door speakers you can not beat a focal, they are a little pricey but well worth it.

I second the MTX. I've used their amps in the past and they have stood up well. I didn't know that they made a five channel though.

they use too. Look at an xtant 3 channel . they have outputs for your rears as well.

The reason I was looking at a 5 channel amp was because I just want one amp that does all the work. I don't want to run two amps.

The xtant 3 channel will run everything . it has rear out puts but they are at a lower volume than the fronts. Just look them up and you will see what i mean.

The only issue you may have with a 5 channel is space to install it. They tend to be large amps.

I was thinking about that but wouldn't I need more room if I had two amps? I'm just trying to prepare the things I am going to purchase.

2 amps can be mounted in 2 seperate locations. ie. behind the seat, factory jack location or under the front seats.

I have the Memphis belle and love it. It comes in two versions a small and big one. I have the big one , MC-1300 or something like that. Fits perfectly in jack location. Just moved the jack under the passenger seat. Love this amp. Being stable @1ohm allows you a lot of configure your system a number of ways.
