Looking for just a bit more....

Hey guys, I bought my Titan about 4-5 months now and I bought it from the dealership with a 6" Pro Comp Lift(i believe its a stage 1) and 33"/13.50 Pro Comp tires on 20" rims. Im not really educated on the whole truck talk or suspension talk or with the brands everyone is using on Titans. Im new to the truck thing actually, I was really into sports cars and motorcycles before I got my truck so most of my auto knowledge is in cars and bikes.

So.. I would really like to add a couple more inches of lift on my truck without spending a WHOLE lot of money and without having to get bigger tires for the time. Like I said, its a new truck with only 3000 miles on the tires so I dont want to replace them yet. I would really like to get close to 9" of lift, but I think that might look dumb with 33". I really dont know so if anyone has an opinion on 9" with 33" or pics of it that would be great. If 9" would not look bad with 33" I would just do a 3" body lift and be done with it.

Otherwise... How could I go about getting 1.5-2.00" of lift on a 2wd Titan that wouldn't break the bank?

Thanks for your help

I suck at photoshop but here is a little idea i guess of what a little more lift would look like. Im not quite sure how much is added since I did this in about 5 min.

6" Pro Comp..

6" Pro Comp plus a little help from Photoshop!

you could get some of the bracket lift coil overs. those are adjustable and you should beable to get a couple inches out of them. i know it works for the cst spindle and uca but im not sure if you are going to run into any clearence problems with your upper if you try and lift it with the coilovers.
That look good! I have 33'' on my 08 and was thinking about the PC 6'' lift. I was worried what it would look like with 33'', but yours looks good!
With 9" of lift 33" tires would look skinny.

That is pretty much what I figured. So now Im trying to find something like a 1"-2" Body lift which apparently does not exist! So I guess I might be screwed on this one. I have been thinking about how I could use a 3" Body Lift to modify it down to 1.5"-2" or just find someone that would create some spacers that i could install like a body lift that would be about the extra height Im wanting

Depending on how much work you want to do, it would be much easier to go with a bracket coilover and have a custom spacer fabbed to get more lift out of it. You may need the Total Chaos uppers to get the clearance from the coil bucket. It is definitely possible to get another 2 inches of lift out of a bracket kit like the Pro-Comp as opposed to adding a body lift but it may be more than you're willing to spend as the coilovers are pretty pricey. You should talk to PrerunnerGreg and see what he can set you up with.

Ive pretty much decided that I need to talk to PRG and if he has nothing then coilovers are my only option. I really wish they made a 1"-2" body lift! It would be perfect...
Truck looks good as it is. I would not do any more without a larger tire.
