Seat lost power. The recline part moved a little but then if I moved it to recline or raise, it would only recline. Now the seat is fully reclined and dead, yup, fun driving around like that. Just happened yesterday so not bad so far. Forward/back not moving at all. Now, what is most likely the culprit, the seat switches, motor, nylon gear shot? I do hear clicking when I move the switches. I read a post that there is a circuit breaker behind left kick panel and a 50 amp fuse under hood that I should check. What do you guys think? Thanks.

If you hear clicking it is not the switches.

I'll check all connectors/fuses after work today. Power to mirror adjust and pedals are good so maybe not the fuses? I've seen where some lose function of just back/forth or up/down but mine are both out, what are the chances that both would go out at the same time? Leads me to believe that it's something other than the motors and from what Walrus says, if clicking it's not switches. I'll keep you poste. Thanks.

I'll bet something is jammed in the seat or something has jammed up the mechanism.

Well, this is one of those, not really sure what happened. Checked all fuses, disconnected battery, looked for jammed items, disconnected all connections with no luck. I started removing plastics around seat to access motors, while doing this I tapped motors with small hammer and tried the switches along the way. All of a sudden, POWER came back to seat. Could have been stuck motor, loose connection, etc, etc, but can't point to one specific thing. Working now and hope it stays that way.
