I posted this in the tires section, but I figured I'd get a quicker reply here. I have an '08 Titan with less than 400 miles on it. The low tire pressure light came on. I checked the pressure-all tires are perfect at 35-36psi. I know there is nothing wrong, but it is driving me nuts.

The owners manual says the light will flash if the sensor is bad or malfunctioning and will burn solid if its working correctly. Mine is burning solid.

How can I fix this without buying anything or having to take the truck in for service. Maybe just missed something when reading through the owner's manual on how to fix it.

Thanks

I put 40 psi in my stock tires and never saw the light again, when I would put the recommended pressure it would come on especially if the temp dropped.

Jump your pressure to 40 PSI, and see if that doesn't work.

Or, you can try resetting the ECU.

OOPs too Slow!! LOL

I had the same thing happened to me a couple days ago, went to my local gas station, check my tire pressure it was at 34psi, so I air them up to 40psi, started the car the check tire pressure light still on, drove the truck for about 2 mins, light went away. Try this I think this will solve your problem.

Mine came on once.
Turns out I had a big screw lodged in the tire and it was going flat.

The 08 manual says the truck must be going 16mph for the sensor to start 'sensing' again. I would suggest the 40psi as others have talked about.
