Hi,

I have a 2004 nissan titan cc LE with 265/70R18 tires. I bought some new tires and rims from a 2017 Nissan Titan XD 4x4 with 245/75R17 tires. I didn't get the lug nuts from the 2017 and see that the lug nuts from my 2004 are different because the hub cap will not fit. Anyone know what lug nut size I can use with the 2004 bolts and 2017 rim? I went to Buena Park Nissan and the parts guy was clueless. Hope this makes sense. thanks.

Your 2004 has 12mmx1.25 studs and conical (acorn) seat wheels. The XD uses 14mmx1.5 studs with mag (shank) seat wheels

You'll have to buy 12mmx1.25 lug nuts to fit your studs, but they'll need to be mag style for the XD wheels. The problem here is that the 12mm Mag lug nuts won't be as thick as the original 14mm mag lug nuts, so there'll be space between the wall of the lug nut and the hole in the rim, which may cause the wheels to wobble even after they've been tightened down.

You can try to find some 12mmx1.25 Mag seat lug nuts with a thick wall, or buy wheel adapters to go from 6x139.7 - 12mmx1.25 to 6x139.7 - 14mmx1.5
