i have been using the Maguires cleaner wax and i like the way it comes out. im thinking about either going with the NXT or gold class, but a friend i know uses the NXT and says it is real hard to get off.

I have both and have used both. I prefer the Gold Class over the NXT. To me, the NXT just doesn't seem to last near as long, or provide the shine like the Gold Class. But, that's just my $.02.

both are very good. I dont know what your friend is doing, but when I tried the NXT it wiped right off, no problems. Another great wax is PoorBoy's Natty Blue. You have to order it online though.

Im thinking he might have let the NXT dry for too long. however i did use the gold class on my front grille and headlights and it looked almost showroom. i think the next can of wax is going to be gold class.

I only ever used Gold Class on both of our vehicles. A friend talked me into Turtle Wax Ice (which is basically the same as NXT) . I used the polish and I have to say I'm sold-BIG TIME. I had a little trouble getting it off also, but later found out the reason was I used too much. Like the product states, you only need to use a little bit. I waxed the T with Gold Class and my wife's Edge with Ice within a few days of each other. Her car looks like it was just waxed, the water still beads like the day it was done. The T looks like sheit and needs redone, this time with Ice for-schizzle.

Ive been hooked on gold class for a while now. I use the paste not the liquid though. Ive tried Ice, carnuba waxes and all those, but love the gold class. My truck gets waxed regularly, so the wax always stays fresh for me.

The key with the NXT is to not apply it any any real heat or direct sunlight, let it dry properly but not too long and then remove it. If you let it on too long or too short, put it on in too hot temps...etc it is a PITA. It works well though. Isn't the gold class those other non-synthetic stuff? I stick with synthetic for daily driver since supposedly it lasts longer.

Ive used Meguiar's basic cleaner/wax for years, and when i tried the gold class, i was very disapointed. Entirely a marketing gimmick to sell product. it is no better than the cheaper regular meguiars.

if you want something better and lasts longer than Meguiars, cant remember the name, but wal mart carries it, its like $13 so its not cheap, but it lasts longer than the meguiars

I THINK ITS CALLED zYMOL?

I never wax my truck. I just scrub the bugs off and take it through the car wash regularly.
