Hey guys are these Titans really this powerful stock ?? I just got my truck and was cruising around town and a little Civic pulled up to me and revved. When the light turned green I punched it and the tires chirped for like 3-4 seconds before they caught traction. I left this dude in the dust like nothing.I might not be used to the torque cause this engine is way more powerful than my 5.3 Chevy . I think it may already have a tune on it but woulden't the dealership have seen this and made it stock again before selling? I know they put a diagnostic tool on it because they had to remove the oil change light, cause they had not reset it after they changed the fluids. They would have seen the tune if it had one when they removed this light correct? I am getting a Bullydog GT in the mail tomorrow and dont want any unforseen problems. I run 305 50 20 Sumitomo tires on 20' rims BTW. Even if it had a tune the Bullydog would still overwrite it when I installed it correct? Thanks Guys !!

You would be surprised how powerful these trucks are stock. Your mind is going to be blown when you install BullyDog. In stock form, my truck will spin my heavy a$$ 35's with minimal resistance. Just so you know, our trucks have a throttle limiter on them up to 40 MPH too. So as a stock truck, I think you only get 40% power in WOT up to 40mph.

That's for the 2x4s right? and the 4x4 have the limiter up to 15 MPH?

Pretty sure that's what I heard somewhere on these boards. It wouldn't be the first time I am wrong though!

When I test drove mine I couldn't believe the low end power it had. You will love your BDGT!! I'd almost bet you don't have a tune on it right now, most guys are pretty good about removing them and selling the unit before they trade it in. Titans off the line are like a rocket:)

And yes, WOT restriction for 2wd are 40 mph and 4x4's are 15 mph.

Yeah all indications are that this Titan is stock. Stock air box, stock exhaust etc. The rims are custom Valente 20's and they have wide 305 tires. I think that all the low end torque in addition to the wide low profile tires are the reason they chirp so bad off the line. I can't imagine this truck tomorrow after the Bully Dog install :). It is going to be fun !!!

Well you got a 4x4, do you notice the power jump at 40 or 15?
Well, I don't think I have been WOT in the T in the last year, and I never really noticed. Perhaps this calls for a test.

... and another one is addicted to the power of the T. Sorry. There is no cure. You'll only want to reach the 13's one day and spend everything to achieve it, lol.

I don't think I've driven it without being in WOT more than once per trip. As I turn left from our street, I hit it and open her up. Just to wake her up and let her know who's boss. That way she knows it's going to be one of those kind of days.

Dude, when I installed my Brute force I was amazed, I easily lit up my 35 x 1350's (though it probably could have done it in stock form). I can't wait to get a BDGT, If I only had a little cash flow.

Well the T was not tuned. I installed my Bully Dog GT and before I put the tune on it said that the engine was stock. Just a powerful engine even in stock form.
