The other day I tried to put it into manual shift mode and the button did nothing, its been a couple of days and it still wont go into manual mode. Im planning on taking it into the dealership this weekend but I was just wondering what might have caused the problem.

What button are you referring to?

He has a button and switch to go into manual gear mode. If the button doesnt work, he can't downshift on his own. Kinda makes me glad I have a center console shifter

Yup thats correct.

Does anyone know of a reason it may not work?
