More Rubbing After UCA Install?

786 Views 5 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  SouthernLion
So I had my Dirt King heimed UCA's installed and an alignment done. Ride is excellent now. I'm very happy not to hear the clunk when I go over a large bump. Really feel like I almost ride even a little smoother than before.

The only downside it seems is that for some reason, I now rub more in the rear when turning. Instead of only lightly rubbing at full lock, I rub when only turning about 3/4 of the way.

Can't figure out why that would be the case. No extra height was added. Any ideas? I have not done the PWM. Didn't need to before the new UCA's.

I am as well. The guy at the shop actually said it was probably the best UCA he has seen. He said he's never seen one that had that much ability to adjust. Lol. All they use there is RC.
I may have to. On the print out they gave me, both sides' caster is at 2.7 degrees. Acceptable range on the sheet appears to be 3.0 to 1.5 degrees. So I'm definitely skewed to one side it seems.
