Hello there...throwing up a post to introduce myself. I've been a long time member over a clubfrontier.org having owned a 2007 Frontier SV and a 2015 Frontier Pro 4x. Traded in the Pro-4x and just purchased a 2017 Titan SV in Java metallic. Main reason for the change was that my boys had outgrown the rear seat in the Frontier.
So far I've added a spray in LineX bedliner, Nissan all weather mats, and I removed the step rails.
What do I like most...The sounds of the V8! I barely listen to the radio anymore as I love hearing it so much. Many of the expert reviews I read so far are saying the same things. Between 2-4K RPM it sounds like a beast but on the hwy you don't even notice it. A close second would be the gas mileage...roughly 1 mpg better in the city and 2 mpg better on the interstate than the Frontier. And yes I'm comparing apples to apples...winter fuel, no ethanol, similar routes, etc...
Disappointments...None except the Nissan all weather mats. They are nowhere near the quality or thickness as the ones previously offered in the Frontier (similar to the ones in the previous Gen Titan). And the rears do not cover the hump. Save your money and go for aftermarket mats.
Not many more upgrades planned. Look forward to seeing a growing number of posts in the Gen 2 forums.
