Has anyone thought (or done) this? I'm thinking of moving the switch that controls the back window. It's not egonomically correct if you ask me. It's way to far up and out of the way. I've been using it quite a bit lately. I'm thinking of moving it to the console area somewhere.

Any thought?

Up and out of the way? Mine's down below my knee on the left dash. Where's yours?

Anyway, I use mine almost daily, and it's kind of awkward to reach down there all the time, I have to admit. Never considered relocating it, though. Interesting.....

Here's where mine is....

Center console next to the "Tow Mode" switch would be a good place!

I think the 08's have it up in the upper roof console area.

The '08's with bench do have it above the rear view mirror on the console. Near Tow Mode button would work way better. Or even on the steering wheel.

Seems like a major PIA of a project if you ask me. I pulled the lower dash cover off when I was doing my tailgate cargo light mod and it was pretty intimidating.

I'm thinking of moving it to the console area behind the shifter in the cargo area. Where your hand kinda lays when your on the armrest. That seems like a nice tucked away but close at hand place. I'm sure it'll be time consuming but not that difficult to do. I haven't looked at it yet. Just getting a check on here to see what people thought. If I do it. I'll post up how and how hard. I'll include pics if need be.

On the 08's its above my head in the upper console. This is an easy spot to use. My 06 was at my knees on the left side which was a bad spot.

i havent seen the 08 with the switch above the head but it seems like an awkard place to keep a window switch. i mean from one bad place to another. i just wish they put it where the other window switches are. it's got plenty of space.

Your truck is dirty inside, needs some cleaning. That is a nice spot for the rear window on your power window panel. Just order a new switch and add it to the panel.

Good luck finding one of those OEM switches. I tried 3 different dealers as well as online. They DON'T have them or sell them. The auxiliary light kits Nissan sells at dealerships have those shítty little cheapo red toggles like the ones you get at an auto parts store. How crappy is that?! I wanted an OEM switch for my lights and came up empty. If anyone knows where we can get them, it would be quite the accomplishment!

Have you tried your nissan parts do com?

They are beta testing a system to look up parts - you can't order them through this link but can at least get a part number to call them up to order:

After you select the Nissan Titan, Under Instrument Panel, then Cluster and Switches there are a number of switches listed. I didn't see the rear window one, but there may be others that would do what you are looking for.

That's good. Now we just need to find out the ratings on the switches and we're set. But, $40 for a toggle switch? Hmmmm.....

I don't have any room on my door for switches. And the spots next to the rear window are the power pedal and the rear sonar. All of them are in a piss poor spot. I think by the tow mode is not really that bad, at least then I know I am not turning off the rear sonar or moving my pedals as I blind feel for the window switch. Baseball where you thinkin of putting yours?

$40 for a switch is nutz - what about removing the switch & putting one of those blanks from an XE in the hole ??

They probably only want $10 for a blank
