Hey guys im new here and have some questions. If i put 295/70r18 tires on my truck what would be the mpg? Im thinking of putting a 4 inch lift on it but im still undecided. Im going for an off road/more aggressive look but dont want to destroy gas milage. I was looking at a leveling kit but i hear they can cause problems. Any advice would be appreciated.

The good news is, you have a great truck. The bad news is, if you lift it, and add bigger tires, you're going to make it less aerodynamic and add rotational mass. My guess is, 1-1.5mpg drop, best case. Could be 2-3mpg, depending on the weight of the tires you choose.

And for the record, leveling kits don't cause problems, as long as you understand the limits of leveling for a given year Titan. Early years are different from 2008 and later, but for my 2011 (only year I know for sure) I'm going to need aftermarket upper control arms to clear the 2.5-3" I want to eventually add.

Only 2-3 MPG's? In most cases that's around 20% of our gas mileage. I'd kill for 3 more MPG's, but that would mean I'd have to make my truck slow again.

But lifting a 4WD and adding bigger tires is going to add a lot of weight.

expect to average 11-12 mpg no matter how you drive with those tires.

Your probably going to get about 10-11 city and 14-16 highway with those tires and any 3-6" lift.
