I have a 2007 Armada and installed a JBA catback about 3.5 years ago.

For the last several months I had this annoying rattle over bumps that I could not track down. A few mechanics later and it appears to be coming from inside the JBA muffler (baffles likely are falling apart).

Initially when I had the exhaust installed it was deafening and droned like crazy. I got a UQ resonator put on and it helped about 70% but the drone is still there often.

Since I have to replace the muffler I was looking for recommendations.

Ideally I can get something that had a nice growl but I would really like to eliminate the drone completely even if that means less growl.

Can anyone provide a recommendation for a muffler that might fit the bill? I intend to keep the UQ resonator on it and only replace the muffler.

Borla 40944 would be the one I would replace it with (and intend to when my JBA muffler finally dies)

Thanks. I've been doing more research and it seems the Flo Pro is a good option for no drone.

Only problem is the muffler I have now is center/center inlet/outlet and theirs is center/offset.

I suppose a muffler shop can work with this though. I'll have to make some calls.
