Hello guys does anyone know what this contraption is used for.ive been scratching my head for days no name on it so I can't research it..if someone will be so kind as to what this is it will be great other wise I'm gonna put it in my forget it draw and get back to it another time..no question is a stupid question..

Not sure what the 'flashlight' looking part is, unless its a battery (hearing aid style or coin type) but the other end looks like the connection that I have for one of my old cell phones to charge. Have a few at work that are also used for charging up old wireless mice, hard drive power, etc. Guess it all depends on the whole package. Do they come apart?

Yeah comes apart and also has a double A battery inside and lights up red when connected the end of the wire is a headphone jack but smaller

Looks like a little power supply to run something powered off micro-usb. Older cell phones, bluetooth devices, gps, headphones, etc, had that rectangular jack on their charging port. Before mobile devices all started requiring 2mA and higher to charge, there were a few contraptions like what you have there floating around at the dollar-store/ali-express/ebay level. I'm not sure how useful it would be now, but might power something enough to make a 911 call if needed?
