My front passenger side door won't unlock. Help?

Hey everyone, been a whIle since I've been around here. I'm not sure if this is the best place to post my question, I'll repost elsewhere if need be.

Yesterday I was out running errands and my girlfriend climbed into the front seat, door opened just fine. When we got to the grocery store, the door wouldn't open. I hit the unlock button on the drivers door, and the actual lock seemed to try to unlock, but wouldn't get there. The unlock button on passenger side and on my FOB both do the same thing. I can't manually unlock it either. It seems to be catching on something but I can't see anything. Anyone else have/had this problem? Thanks in advance!

Had this problem in my old 2011 Murano. But it would unlock manually from the inside, or by key from the outside. It was a pain the pull the key out of the fob to get into the car. The keyless entry part of the fob and the switch inside would not work. Ended up being an actuator in the door. Dealership replaced it. Sometimes they just get bound up or need the cables greased, etc.. Mine was dead.
No it would not respond to the powered rocker switch in the car, or the fob button from outside. Inside the car I had to use my fingers to push the little knob/lever on the door to the open position, the part you see move when you engage the power door lock. Basically no power lock, became a manual lock. From outside the car only the key opened the door.
I was hoping it was just a kinked up cable because it was trying to open, but would not. Turned out to be the little motor which had little cables attached to it.
