Ok I found the wheel I want, its 18x9 and they make them in +1, +14 and +20 offsets. As I've so eligantly slathered all over this forum, I have a leveling kit in the front of my truck and Deaver C10's in the back. I'm looking to get 295/70-18's mounted on these wheels, so what would be the best offset to go with? The rim company recomends +14 and I think I agree, I just wanted to get one last opinion from the Titan Wheel & Tire pros here on TT.
I don't mind doing the PWM at all, I just don't want to have any other rubbing issues.

Thanks in advance men and most of all for putting up with my multiple posts proving my big truck ignorance...:redblob" :teeth:

with a 34.25" tire ur gonna rub. I have -12 offset and the tires are flush with the side of the truck, the +14 in a 295 seems like it will pull them in just right, but im no offset expert either

The +14 will be closest to the stock backspace. With your new wheels being 1" wider than the stock wheels it looks like the outer lip of your wheel will sit out about 1" further than your OE wheel and tire. You may need to trim the lower front edge of your bumper. You'll also probably need to do the pinch weld mod.

Wouldn't it be a 1/2" on either side?
I wish I had the stock wheels and tires, but I have aftermarket 17" rims on it with 295-70-17's right now and they fit fine with no rubbing. I guess the 295-70-18 will be exactly an inch taller, but for some reason, they are listed on Nitto's web site as being about a 1/4" narrower.
I don't mind doing the PWM, but I certainly don't want to cut the bumper, that's just nuts.
I wish I knew more about what was already done to this truck so I could make a better judgment call here. This is driving me nuts! Is there a different tire size that I should consider or should I just start shopping for a little more lift?

265/70/18 is the stock tire size for the 18" wheels. not sure about the 20". a 295/65/18 (if they make that size) might help you out a bit with rubbing. the +20 will pull the tire in more so you might get inner rubbing up front, but i would think you would clear the fenders.

Nitto doesn't make a 295/65-18, but they do make a 275-70-18 which is listed as a 33" tire. I'm just afraid their gonna look like pizza cutter compared to the 295/70-17's I have now.
So I guess that leaves me with either the 285/65-18 or 275/70-18. DAM this is killing me!

Take one of your wheels off. The width and offset should be stamped into the back of it. Sometimes offset is listed next to the letters "ET". Post up what it says and I'll be happy to help you estimate where your new wheels and tires will sit compared to what you have now.

every titan seems to be different. 34" tires with a leveling kit will rub. the rear should be fine with the 2" blocks in the back, but the front with just a leveling kit could be tricky.

I've ran into the same issue. I've currently got a 2010 with the 18" 6-spoke rims, and I'm eyeing a set of some type of 18" x 9" wheel. Not to sure on what style yet. My only question is what is the maximum width rim that will fit a 275/70/18 Nitto Terra Grappler. Just got the tires, and now I've got the wheel worm.

Nevermind I think I just found my answer. Checked the Nitto website and it states 7.0 -(8.0)- 8.5. So does this mean the maximum width I can run is 8.5" WD with these tires?

Yes, that's what there engineers believe is the range for the tire, 7" to 8.5". The middle number is what the values of the spec sheet are based on.

i got 275/70/18 on a 9" wide tire. tires will go on any wheel, its just a matter of how bad u want it and how hard it will be to get it on. Do you see the VWs driving around with a 215 tire on a 8" wide wheel? It looks stupid, but its doable. your 275 on a 9" wide wheel will be fine

Norcal 4x4's recommendation is right on. Stick with a tire that is no taller than 34", 34" tires are very large for a leveled Titan. You'll have plenty of work to do to get them to fit. (look into the 285/75R17 size)
