I finally got around to installing my new AEM Brute Force with the dry flow.....all I can say is Dammmmmmmmmm.

I love it.......The sound is incredible and It feels stronger and I know it should be better in a few days after the truck learns the mod.

I was sceptical, then I bought one, I can say now if you dont have one....GO GET ONE..............

So now you turn the stereo down just to hear the sweet sweet sound of the intake and exhaust don't ya????? Hahahaha I know the feeling I haven't had my stereo on for days...Congrats and enjoy!!!!
So true......................
not too long after I bought my 05 I purchase a k&n cai and installed it. I swear it was slower after the install. but I don't have exhaust so that could be the reason. I end up selling it to a friend who does exhaust and he loved it.
AEM intake and Magnaflow exhuast....It was a perfect marriage....LOL
I am running the Stillen SS dual rear exit. I came really close to going with Magnaflow. My CAI is still with FED EX but only a couple hundred miles away now. I went with S&B. I should have it Monday and can't wait.

I agree. U dont actually feel anything till u get to the top end of 2nd gear. My exhaust basically is just for sound and looks though so im not sure if headers and a cat-back exhaust are the solution. I cant see many people spending $700-1200 for headers that bring horsepower up +8-12. Same goes for the pipe work. Like I always say......just sve up for the blower, then youll have the bragging rights.

Just got my S&B last night, toke me about 45 min to install. You won't be disappointed.
I could really feel a better throttle response on take off, and it's nice and loud. Got to love it.

My butt dyno says yes. It feels stonger and pulls harder especially at takeoff. I have read dyno results on other sites that confirm this is not my imagination. And thanks for the info jrr, you made the wait just a little harder, LOL. I can't wait to see what she does, how she looks, and how she sounds.
Has the S&B been redesigned from its earlier "extremely lean" running condition that it was causing??
I wish I was able to tell a difference with my intake, but I only have the k&n 77series. est a wopping 7.25 hp gain.

Have you seen any MPG gains since you put the intake on?
Not really......I have only run 2 tanks thru it........got 350 miles before and after so far.
