I was forced into a new cat back install after header install was to loud for wife's liking. I just installed a OEM replacement catback a walker muffler ss quiet flow. I am impressed how much it tamed the sound with out power loss just a hair in the upper rpm range. It's back to stock quiet but better sounding almost like a 6.2 Silverado if any of y'all are familiar with that sound very pleasant to my ears got at AutoZone 140 shipped to front door. It chambered but life is good once again with her an I still got to have my cake an eat it to.

I've been curious about that exhaust. Did you happen to check the pipe size/opening measurements compared to stock? Looks like the Walker muffler has a bigger case than OEM. I'm pretty happy with my stock exhaust/Cajun b-pipes setup, but I thought about getting one of these then having the whole thing coated so it would stay nice and black with no corrosion. I'd buy another factory exhaust to do that, but it's four times the price of the Walker, and that's me getting a discount on the parts from my dealer.

It's 2.5 like the stock lined up perfect with bpipes an tailpipe only issue I ran into was the driver side where the connection from pipes to muffler pipe. There is a clamp on it an was a pain to remove the 2 pipes apart but it was about an 1/8 in to small on the walker side so just welded it up no leaks now. But walker makes that sleeve connection I didn't know about it till after the fact it's only 30.

Do you have a link to the muffler? I've got the Full Cajun treatment but sh!t is still too loud for my wife (me as well). Just got rid of my CAI... currently have the JBA muffler that Jeff recommended.

Did you add the Ultraquiet? Night and day difference even with the JBA muffler.

New guy here! I got all my stuff on amazon. Spent about 185 bucks when it was all said and done. I used these parts:

Walker 47843. Muffler assembly x1
Walker 35335 clamp x1
Walker 31585 gasket x1
Walker 52505 front pipe x1
Walker 31540 gasket x2
Walker 54650 tail pipe x1

The hardest part was just getting the rusted bolts off the cats. Other than that it was a breeze, about 2 hours of work.
