I have a 2010 LE CC with Utilitrac. The cleats came in a box and I didn't want to store them in the storage box without being secured. So I came up with this. If other people have solutions, please post them! I looked everywhere on the forums and didn't find too many threads on this.

I used stainless steel, I don't want any rust. Use 3/8 - 16 on all parts. Washers, wing nuts and bolts (5"). Place the cleats on the storage shelf for measuring the layout, then mark the areas to drill, align the holes between the wafer support on the bottom of the shelf. Then, use the bolt and washer, through the shelf then use a nut to secure the bolt to the shelf. I used a piece of foam and did a rough cut (looks ugly in the pic). Then place the cleats on the shelf, position them for no overhanging. Use big washers and wing nut to secure. Done.

Looks like a good use for that box. Mine doesn't seem to be particularly dirt or water proof, so SS is probably a must.
