For those who didn't see my tailgate thread with the pics i went offroading today and got my tire stuck in a rut we didn't see while driving on a trail so when a 4x4 diesel chevy tried pulling me out it only made it worse by having my end fishtail down. It is not completely done for but if it rains in the inland empire tonight in ca its gone. Whatever angle we pull it at on the trail will only make it slide down unless somebody has a beastly 4wd truck that can drive up a hill while pulling my truck. ANYBODY? WILLING TO PAY em!

cheese and rice, man! where in the IE are you? why not call a tow truck??
the rain and wind was pretty bad today, along w/ quite a bit if tiny hail. weather.com says it's gonna start raining early tomorrow morning :( GL!!
Dont Panic man you should be fine...unfortunately you're going to have to get dirty to get that S.O.B out...go to home depot and get some 2x4's or any hard wood that'd be good for traction...bag of gravel wouldn't hurt either...you're going to have to dig a bit around your tires and just try to massage the thing out...fortunatly if you got that thing stuck pretty good i dont think it'll slide down the mountain =) Just be prepared to work your butt off tommorow though...keep a cool head and just make it as easy as you can for the T to get out...make sure you dig a trough for your front wheels too ;):bangit:
wow that sucks... good luck for sure
Looks like you need to use a shovel to dig a path for your front wheels. Are you leaving your truck there overnight, or are you going to call a tow truck ? Where is your truck located ?
I could probably help you get out Tuesday afternoon after I go to San Bernardino.
Damn that sucks. Good luck! like others have said you're going to have to dig your way out of this one. 2x4's should so the trick just get them under the tires and have some one else pull at the same time.

no but the only thing is if somebody pulls me while driving on the same trail that i am on, it will just make me slide down the hill and potentially roll. i need somebody with a winch that has a long cable cause AAA said they dont give service to off road
^yea dude...you're gonna have to dig =):bangit:

already tried digging for the front wheels. didnt help cause my wheels have absolutely no traction on the ground because my back wheels are in super muddy mud

Is it April 1st already, if no Im confused, cause that in NOT bad at all.
I wouldn't even of thought to call a wrecker in to get that out, just need to get a little dirty(basically man up)
dude you dont get it though. those pictures were taken during the daytime. before we tried pulling it out with another truck. if you know how to do it man up and help a T owner out! otherwise im gonna be losing my truck
^Pretty much hit the nail on the head bahahaaha

Claremont, really though digging will be your only option...mud is a mess so gravel and wood will be your best friend...bring old clothes and prepare to look like one of those mud wresling girls lol...but i really think you're trucks going to be just fine...think good thoughts man!

haha yup one of em has a 12" bulletproof lift and he has chip programed for it and everything. I swear iv seen it pull my friends ranger up a 7 foot dirt wall, the thing is a beast. wheres your truck sitting at? if i were you id be sleeping in it overnight making sure people aint stealin **** man
yeah thats true but i don't want to die if it rolls down. its pretty damn confined. there was a group of kids that were up there when we were there that were watchin tryin to help n i know one of em so if ne thing happens i know where to go to. + i wrote the kids license plates down...
WILLING TO PAY em!
whip out the yellow pages and start calling. if you're willing to pay there are companies or individuals that have towing services to unstuck yahoos from offroad areas. call around. ain't gonna be cheap but some have winches and such and can yank you right out. good luck mang... now you will know better... :bangit:
It's best that He does not broadcast where his truck is, so that some low life does not think about going there to rip off parts.
another thing you can do is get a ton of tow straps and daisy chain a few trucks together to pull you out. i've been in several of such daisy chains or in succession. have one lead truck on the road up ahead towing one truck and another strapped to your truck and then you'll have essentially two trucks pulling you out. much greater chance of that working. seen it a few times and every time seen it work.

yeah but the road above is like 100 yrds up and it runs horizontal of the way im facing if that makes ne sense. so in other words the road runs W E
