:crying:

So the day has come, a day i thought would not be knocking at the door just yet.

Got news from the dealer about my 04 128k titan that the both manifolds are cracked i have a rear axle leak resulting in a bill just under 3 grand. I love my truck always have always will but i just done see it lasting much longer even after the fixes. so i have been looking at 09ish versa and sentras.
I just need a commuter car as of now. They said they would give me 8k for trade in which i guess will have to do from the 35k i paid, oh well that is a vehicle for you.
So if anyone has any input on a better solution (aka manifolds, versa, sentra, etc) please feel free.

PS. after much research about the faulty manifolds i spoke to a rep from Nissan USA and after debating about it there was nothing they would do.:bangit:

was looking at headers and nice how right on the stillen page it states:

"Nissan Titan cracked manifolds and failed catalytic converters are a pretty common problem. Factory replacement manifolds typically run around $1,100.00 per side! Significantly more expensive than a pair of STILLEN long tube Titan headers! "

My 04 had cracked manifolds so I replaced them with JBA Shorty headers. A LOT cheaper route. Rear axle seals busted at about 150K and the dealership changed them out for $700. I got over 235K out of my 04 so your truck still has a lot of life left in her.
wow around 33k miles a year, damn. i thought i drove.

Id fix the truck - its cheaper than getting a new car.. GL OP on your decision..
ya thats the prob, my payment prob be around 200 for a sentra with warranty. insurance and gas will save me money. just kinda worried something else might go wrong with it like the trans, etc. everything is so expensive to fix. i had my drivers side window motor go out and thats like 650 to fix.:bangit:

front diff leak 300
rear axle leak 600
window motor 650
brakes 700
manifolds 2000

Well brakes are a manitenance thing anyway. I replaced mine at 60k. I'm sure oyu mean rotors too, and for $700 you could have gotten Frozen rotors, which are way better then OEM. Did you try looking at junk yards for wrecked Titans to get things like the window motor? Just an idea
ya been finding window motors online for around 100 bucks
