I applied 4 coats to the grill. I didn't not prime it, I used 200 grit sand paper to to create a rough surface for a better adhesion. And then used an Acetone for a final prep.

Ironically I was just looking at that paint. I want to do an aftermarket grill I have. Looks as though it came out well. How many coats did it take? Did you prime any of it or just paint over top?
So, about a year ago I scuffed my bumper... the left cap to be exact ... several months ago I scuffed another one so I decided to replace both of them but I didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for someone to paint the same color as the rest of my truck. So, I decided to use the Dupli-Color. I started with my bumper..... grill![]()
