Crew Cab LE, Smoke, Graphite/titanium leather, DVD, Nav, Big Tow, 4x2, side air bag package, utilitrack with overhead rack and bed extender.

Thought those of you who hadn't seen the truck with those accessories might like a look. Easy to install and easy to remove. The utilitrack is a winner (as is the rest of the truck!). :rockon

That is great. I was wondering how the overhead rails looked. Unfortunatley i cant get a snowboard rack without the overhead rails just like the accessories on this link: http://www.leeauto.com/parts/titan.html

You think lookin at yours would a snowboard or ski rack be too high over truck attached to the overhead rails?
I looked at the web site you sent and I don't think that they will be too high.
You will want it to sit high enough so that anything you put on it will be off the roof surface if it extends forward from the rack (or just set it back to the rear more) and yet low enough to make for easy access. Even if access is an issue from the side, you can still get in the bed to put on and remove.
Ski or snowboards won't create much additional drag. I've got surf and sail boards on mine.

Do it!

Nice rig!

I see the the rear overhead rack has the brakelight on it; how is that powered?
The rack comes with a complete harness hook-up that attaches to the brake light harness. Wire from this harness clicks into attachment from the rack and stays hidden in a channel that attaches under the utilitrac. Simple detach and reattach=voila!

Just like everything I've seen so far with this truck, well thought out!

Weight limit is 125 lbs. Nissan USA web site has the accessories for the Titan and includes accessories for the rack. There are links from others posting on this thread for additional sources for accessories.

Sorry I didn't respond sooner but we were away for the weekend.

As shown in the photo the inside distance between the two corner sections is 38.5 inches. The outside distance from one end of the rack to the other is approximately 53 inches.

Hope this information is helpful, Tiki.

Here's another photo from above.

Just so you guys know, the overhead rack is rated at 125 pounds PER bar, which means the whole system can haul 250lbs.

I like the rack! Can you measure the distance from the top flat surface of the box to the top of the rack? I have a tight garage fit but would like to add this option.

As close as I could measure the uprights from the flat is approximately 25".

To give you an idea how they sit on the truck in real terms, they are only 1" - 2" higher than the roof of the rear cab. If your garage is that tight I'd be really concerned about putting the truck in without the racks, let alone with them. Don't over inflate your tires!!! :jester:
