Hey all, new to the forum.
I recently purchased a used 04 XE. 6" RCX, 35x12.5, Bilsteins.
I ordered some N-fab Hooped Nerf bars, and when I got under my truck to check out the studs (which have seemed to be an issue) I realized that I may be missing the lower section of studs. I have the top studs, but the mount looks like there is supposed to be a second lower stud to mount them on, there looks like there is plastic caps in the holes where the studs should be. Im not sure if this is because the truck hasn't previously had running boards in its package.
Any info on how to go about this? Should I put new studs in (and any info on how to do so) or bolts?I have access to a shop and tools.
