Bastards! After I shelled out the $150 for the upgrade, now they drop it to $99. Now I want my $50 back!

IMO you should get free updates as long as you are under warranty.

You'd think, right? But no. Wait until they send another update request. I'll tell 'em to shove it!

Well, there is that one new road that opened this year. I would like to have it on the map. Also, they are redoing the 114/121 interchange. That would be nice to have once complete...

OK, 1 more update in 2 years, then that's it! No More! :flame:

Lol. Ya, at $3 profit per disk I'm Rollin in the dough! hey remember it's only an evaluation copy. If you like it, you should buy the $99 copy from above. ;-)

My map is '07 and I was gonna wait until next year to update, but after seeing this, looks I'll be getting it within the next month. I figure an update every 4 years is worth it. Thanks for the post. I bet they'd refund you your $50 difference if you pushed it.

When you can go out and buy a complete new nav system with touch screen for about that price I don't see how they can keep charging the prices they do for the software updates.

I got nav on my phone for free & it updates itself all the time.
