I would like to find out from North Carolina owners that have either a Banks Catback and or a CAI (Injen or Volant preferably)

Has anyone failed their emissions test because of these mods?

I am a little gun shy about the mods. I am planning on moving forward with either an Injen or Volant and definitely don't want to fork out the dough for a Banks if there is a chance I will fail emissions testing.

Even though our emissions are strict, I don't think you will have to worry because we are OBD II. Which means, they just plug into your port and if there are no codes, you pass. Takes about 30 secs. There is no sniffer for OBD II.

Where in NC are you?

neither of those mods affect you emissions system. The worst thing I think you could possibly do is damage your MAF sensor when you install your intake. Other than that I cant think of any thing about these systems that would cause you to fail emissions
